Dr Tara Walker

Dr. Tara Walker is an osteopath based in Byron Bay, New South Wales, offering holistic, individualised health care that integrates osteopathy, clinical pilates, yoga, pranayama, and meditation.

Tara graduated with distinction from Southern Cross University in Lismore, earning Dux honours in both her Bachelor of Clinical Sciences—with a double major in Osteopathic Studies and Human Structure and Function (2014)—and her Master of Osteopathic Medicine (2016).

She has practised throughout the Northern Rivers region and in multidisciplinary clinics across Sydney’s Northern Beaches and Eastern Suburbs. Committed to ongoing professional development, Tara has completed advanced training in paediatrics, women’s health, cranial and visceral osteopathy, neuroscience, neuroplasticity, and dynamic neuromuscular stabilisation with a focus on surfing.

Drawing on this comprehensive skill set, Tara provides patient-centred care that addresses the whole person—body, mind, and movement.

Outside the clinic, she enjoys dancing, music, surfing, community engagement, and time spent in nature.
